Adana is famous for its kebab’s, sujuk, shalgam and börek. We would like to warn you that the food is very spicy so if you are not a big fan of spicy food, make sure to ask your food with less spice.

We have good news for you. If you like these foods and want to try all of them where they are made initially, there is a festival just for that! At the Adana Food Festival, you can enjoy 2 days full of eating tasty traditional food. The festival is celebrated in October when the weather is not so hot. We would also like to add that they always celebrate this festival on the weekend. People who join the festival can start eating kebab’s in the morning and walk to other stands in the central park and try different meals.

Of course, there are more things to do in Adana than just eat, you can go sightseeing and see what this city has to offer. Through the city, there is a river which has many historical and touristic places. You can find Ataturk’s house, the Ataturk Park, Ulu mosque, Central Park, the significant historical watchtower, Sabancı central mosque, tashköprü and more.
