Young Golturkbuku

Golturkbuku is the youngest resort of the municipality, located 15 km from Bodrum. It was formed in the year 2000 after the unification of two fishing villages (Golkoy and Turkbuku). Therefore, secondary market real estate here is rarely offered for sale; almost all hotels and guest houses are new. In addition, it is the “greenest” resort in the region: cutting down old trees is prohibited; therefore, houses are surrounded by palm trees and centuries-old pine trees.

There is a pebble beach with an uncomfortable steep entrance to the sea and constant waves. A pine forest borders the narrow strip of the beach, so even in July, is not too hot. The resort is not suitable for children and divers, but surfers love it because from the sea from May to the end of September there is a constant breeze.

The route to the village runs far from the coast, and the infrastructure has not yet been fully formed. But judging from the interest in Golturkbuku by US citizens, who have been choosing this resort from among all the other cities, shows great promise.

Celebrities from Hollywood rent expensive villas built near Mandalya Bay. Middle-class tourists prefer to stay in comfortable apartments on 1-2 coastlines where you can rent apartments no more than € 100 per day.

Gumusluk museum

Gumusluk - the farthest village of Bodrum, located 30 km from the city centre.
